G Fight Gear was founded by Ross “The Gladiator” Pointon, a four-time UFC veteran, star of The Ultimate Fighter Season 3 and professional MMA world heavyweight champion.

Throughout a lifetime in combat sports, Ross trained and competed against elite fighters around the world. He also experienced sponsored equipment that did not always provide the fit, protection or durability fighters needed. That experience inspired him to create G Fight Gear: practical martial arts equipment shaped by real training, sparring and competition.
